\"sigla<\/a>Dear friends, today we will present you another counted cross stitch kit that is part of our online catalog, it’s name is\u00a0Vase with Pink Roses<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>and was added to our catalog in January 2016.<\/p>\n

This kit was deigned after \u00a0the painting with the same name of Johan Laurentz Jensen, Danish painter that lived in the second half of the XIX century, between 1800 and 1856. Jensen started his studies at the Danish Academy, further developing his skills in Paris having guidance from\u00a0the\u00a0Gerrard\u00a0<\/a><\/em>brothers and Cornelis van Spaendonck<\/a><\/em>. To the end of XIX-th century his floral paintings became highly appreciated worldwide, many of them being displayed at Statens Museum<\/a> and Thorvaldsens Museum<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

In his typical way, Jensen paints a flower bouquet\u00a0in a vase carefully \u00a0placed on a piece of furniture. The usual subject of his paintings is the rose and the background is neutral, this arrangement makes the flowers variety of colors to stand out and impress.<\/p>\n

Beside the decorative value of his flowers, many times Jensen ads a symbolic value, most of his customers being women.<\/p>\n
